G'day ladies and gents, I'm the proud owner of some new and rather sexy Betts shoes. Yes, I love them, quite a lot. I'm just worried about how they will treat me in our new relationship, I just don't want to get hurt.

How about I show you them? Check out the below picture. I think they look pretty awesome, what do you think? They are the highest shoes I've bought so far, everything else I just ogle over.

Wish me luck, I'm spending Tuesday night with these beauties. Our first date...

Gosh I'm lame.

Bring It On

Living in Queensland means I am now experiencing the delights of Spring. Flowers are blooming, babies are abundant and excitement is in the air. The year is on it's way out, and with that we'll soon be celebrating Christmas, New Years and of course my birthday!
After reading articles on what celebrities carry around in their handbags, I decided I would write to you about what my Spring must haves are. We're not talking labels, and we aren't talking fashionable pieces to wear. We are talking about the little things; the simple things that go hand in hand with Spring weather and atmosphere.
I can't wait to bomb dive into my faithful swimming pool that missed me all through Winter. I can't wait to dance around in swimmers and singlets, under the sun, to the latest tunes. Also, I really can't wait to pick a new bunch of flowers each week to brighten up my room!
Here are my Spring must haves:
- Tinted moisturiser- for my days under the sun.
- Fresh fruit - the perfect snack.
- Bronzer - so I look how I feel.
- Magazines - so that I can find a nice patch of green grass where I can spend hours flicking through mags.
- Iced coffees, double shot!
- Lip balm - to keep me cool and unchapped.
- Fresh salads - the best idea for a Spring lunch date.
And that's the way I like it! Here's to Australia, and her beautiful climate!

Ps. Anyone who does not live in Australia should totally come down for a trip, it's the perfect time of year to discover the Australian beauty.

Everyone Wants a Piece

Hi Readers, for the last two weeks I have been down near Sydney in the Blue Mountains. I spent my time exploring the bush walking tracks, driving around to catch a glimpse of the spectactular views, spending some enjoyable time with family and also hiding away in the quiet cafes of Katoomba. Oh and pampering myself just a little. Oh the bliss of a holiday!

Today, however, I am back home with something to write about. Everyone wants a piece of the fashionable new trends. Here, I'm showing what I personally want a piece of. I've got the biggest wishlist ever and now I'm going to share just some of the items with you. So, here we go:

Siren Shoes - these ones are called Estelle.

Mimi Loves Jimi Shoes - these are called the Charlotte clog heel. Nine West shoes - Botero2

Things To Try Before I Die

That's right, I have made a list of things I want to do before I, well, die.
I'm going to challenge myself, I'm going to scare myself, I'm going to enjoy myself and yes, I'm going to spoil myself. When I decide I want to do something, then you can bet your bottom dollar on it that I certainly will try hard to get to that goal. Here's some of the things I want to do:
1) Take a long, relaxing trip to France and explore anywhere I want.
2) Skydive somewhere with a great view.
3) Go to the south of New Zealand, apparently it's amazing there and if I go by all the pictures I have seen then yes, I certainly agree that it's pretty darn beautiful.
4) Experience the beauty of my own country, Australia - for example the Great Barrier Reef and Ayers Rock.
5) Channel my role models.
6) Take a trip to Italy, and take my Mum and Dad along with me.
7) Start my own business, even if it's just a cute, cosy cafe.
8) Appreciate all the small things, as well as the big things. This is something I've already begun doing, and trust me, it feels amazing.
9) Find Mr. Right, a little corny, but I think this would definitely be on almost every girl's list!
10) Meet my idols and listen to any piece of advice that they want to give me.

So there you have it. If I have a list, then I assume others have one too.
Let me know what your dreams are, however big or little they might be, I would love to hear them. Oh, and it's a very fun experience figuring them out in the first place!

We Are Handsome

Hot, hot, hot. I officially cannot wait for summer to roll around! Check out the beautiful range of swimwear by 'We Are Handsome'. I'm loving their playsuits so I saved a few pictures so that I could show you all. I think they look perfectly feminine yet they still look edgy. I'd love to know your opinion? Take a look:

One of Those Pet-Hates

Hello,
While browsing through various blogs, I was sipping my english breakfast tea. Turns out I didn't wait long enough and I have that awful feeling where your tongue is burnt. Argh! All I need is the perfect remedy. This happens nearly every time I drink tea - strangely only when I drink the english tea. One would think that I'd have learnt by now, hey!?

Does anyone else suffer from these silly and avoidable troubles?

Veg Out

Good morning, Ladies and Gents.

I feel very proud of myself - for the last month I have been a vegetarian and I love it! I feel healthy, I have heaps of energy and I even feel that little bit slimmer. Ace! It was due to personal beliefs and decisions that I have been on a vegetarian diet. What's more is that because I have been eating 3 times more veges than I would have 3 months ago, my skin is feeling and looking noticeably clearer.

So, any vegos out there that want to pass on any advice/recipes, please let the words flow!

Have a swell day, readers!

It's Been a While

It's been a while since I have blogged about anything!

My latest is that I have just finished my mid-year Queensland school holidays. I spent my holiday in Sydney where I did lots of browsing around the shops and bought a few things. But, I'm now back in Queensland and back at school, completing my second last school term - quite overwhelming when I think about it. I've already been loaded with a heap of work to do. Ahhh. However, school work and worries will never keep me from doing what I love - and what I love is reading my favourite blogs, heading out with friends and family and flicking through the pages of the latest magazines on the shelves. Can't wait to pick up my next mag, at the moment I'm reading a book that my dear Nan borrowed out to me. Written by Mary Moody, it is a book about her personal experience on a six month getaway to France. I'm finding it very eye-opening and inspiring. She writes nicely and I find reading her words a little addictive. Her book is called Au Revoir.

Before writing this, I was reading Coco Rocha Conran's (yes, she's now married!) blog. Congratulations to her on her recent success. She has told her readers that she is the newest FW 2010 face of Esprit. Good on her, she is absolutely awesome if you're asking for my opinion!

I hope to write again soon,

but for now, Au Revoir!

Fully Sick

Today I thought about how long it had been since I had logged on to my beloved Blogger account. Oh, how I had missed browsing through my favourite blogs and scanning websites for fashion I loved, just so I could put a picture of it here on my blog. I surely do love making up outfits and posting them just to be able to say, yeah this is what I would wear.

So, here, to anyone who reads this blog, this is what I would wear.

The cute little black dress is American Apparel and the boots are Windsor Smith. You like?

Delicious

Hi lovelys. Here I will provide you with a recipe for a (super) yummy smoothie I enjoy drinking for breakfast some mornings when I'm faced with a tight schedule.

Berrie & Banana Smoothie
You need:
-half a cup of mixed berries frozen or fresh
-1 banana
- 3/4 cup of low-fat milk
- 2 spoonfuls of natural yoghurt
- generous drizzle of honey
What to do:
Roughly separate the banana. Place it, along with all ingredients, in the blender. Blend until you have yourself a smooth mixture. Pour into a glass, sit for 2 minutes and enjoy your easy brekkie!

This literally takes about 5mins to make and about 2 minutes to drink. Awesome? I think so.

Try it out and tell me what you think!

Love Her or Hate Her?

Hi, I have a random topic that I've been meaning to post.

Megan Fox is everywhere! Just about everyone knows who she is and what she does. Famous for her movies including the impressive Transformers, both the first and second. If you haven't heard of her, perhaps you've been living under a rock, which I certainly hope not! I want to know, what do you think of her? Some think she's amazing, some are quite jealous of her, others think she is a bit of an airhead. What do you think?

Personally, I'd would absolutely LOVE to be her. She is very beautiful and very successful!

Putting The Pieces Together

Hi, as you may know, I live in Australia. Currently, I am enjoying the Autumn weather. It honestly is my favourite time of year. However, slowly the weather is becoming cooler and it's time to think about warmer clothes. Yay!!
Here is an outfit that I would wear...

I'm thinking that anyone who wore this outfit would look pretty good. Team this outfit with some high-impact eyes and everyone will want to know who you are. Try shades of jade, turquoise and petrol plus a coat of black mascara to create a statement smoky eye. This is an outfit I would wear, so I do hope any readers enjoy my taste.

Buy this dress at Sportsgirl, as well as the jacket. The peep toes are Novo shoes. Keep in touch, I may add a few some more pieces together sometime soon and whiz up another outfit to try.

The Last Song

Today, I had the chance to go and see Liam Hemsworth's and Miley Cyrus' new movie, The Last Song. I thought it was great! A more mature role for Miley, and wow, it was nice watching Liam Hemsworth on the big screen haha. It's good to see an Aussie doing great!

If you have seen this film, let me know your thoughts on it.

Movies, Movies and More Movies

Hello out there, just thought I would mention that I'm so very excited about some new films that are coming soon. Firstly, Twilight Saga: Eclipse, a movie I know that I will thoroughly enjoy as I really loved the first two movies, as well as the books. In addition to Eclipse, I'm certainly wanting to see Sex In the City 2, Dear John, Date Night, The Runaways and Knight and Day. If anyone, too, is interested in any of these upcoming movies let me know what you think of them, or even whether you think they look ridiculous. I'm open to opinions.

Rococo

Hey readers, you may have heard over the past few months about Coco Rocha's new fashion line.

Coco Rocha is a Canadian model and on top of that, now fashion designer and she has unleashed her creative ideas and created Rococo. Her first gown was seen at the Grammys in February; she modelled it herself. Her outfit had a very antique feel to it - incorporating colours like a beautiful blue and gold, not to mention the eye catching, and very beautiful necklace that she wore. She looked absolutely stunning! Here is a photo of her wearing her piece of art:

If you're interested, read her blog, www.ohsococo.blogpot.com .

Poetry

Hi, today I was reading through a whole lot of Australian poems, this is because I was recently told that soon I would be assessed on my abilities to deconstruct and analyse one. I read some well known poems as well as some that a lot of people may have never heard of. Some of my favourites included: I Still Call Australia Home and The Man From Snowy River. If you have not had the chance to read these, go head and do it now; they are truly eye opening and really get you thinking. You may find that you really enjoy reading poetry, just as I do.

I Still Call Australia Home
by Peter Allan
I've been to cities that never close down,
From New York to Rio and old London town,
But no matter how far or how wide I roam,
I still call Australia home.
I'm always travelin', and I love bein' free
So I keep leaving the sun and the sea,
But my heart lies waiting over the foam,
I still call Australia home.
All the sons and daughters spinning 'round the world,
Away from their families and friends.
Ah, but as the world gets older and colder,
It's good to know where your journey ends.
And someday we'll all be together once more,
When all of the ships come back to the shore.
Then I realise something that I've always known,
I still call Australia home.
No matter how far,
Or how wide I roam,
I still call Australia home.
(Yes, I know it's a song, but it is poetry set to music)

Coco Rocha...

Just a Recommendation

Hurry up and read David Michie's book, "Hurry Up and Meditate". It may just teach you a thing or two about the benefits of daily meditation. It certainly taught me a lot! I find it a bit hard to find time to meditate, however, I am most definitely working on that. This read is a 'starter kit for inner peace and better health'.

It Would Be Interesting To Know....

What is it that inspires individuals? I always find so many things, small or big, that really seem to give me courage and hope. I think it would be an interesting thing to identify - everyones different inspirations. Whether it be an article, a quote, a piece of clothing, an object, art, a shop, films, a novel... anything!
My list, honestly, would be quite long. However, I think that is definately a good thing; no matter where I am, what I'm doing, I can find something that will inspire me, or make me smile, even instantly bring back a cherished memory.

What gives you courage/hope/happiness? Perhaps, if you're unsure, it's about time you woke up and found out...

Chanel

I spent the morning watching "Coco avant Chanel". I thought it was a nice film - perfectly inspiring yet sad. Has anyone else seen it? If so, what did you think of it?

Today I was hoping to hit the op shops, however, that plan unfortunately failed. I really want to just browse through them all, they have such character and history, that's what I love about them.
